Thermal Mass Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryers

True-Cycling thermal mass dryers, such as the ZEKS HeatSink and Gardner Denver XGCY Series, can achieve energy savings as high as 80% compared to conventional non-cycling refrigerated dryers. Savings are realized because the refrigeration compressor automatically shuts off during periods of low or no compressed air demand, consuming power only when needed.

Standard thermal mass refrigerated dryers deliver a 38°F (3°C) pressure dew point, which meets ISO 8573-1 Class 4–5 air quality for most industrial applications. Select ZEKS HeatSink models also offer optional lower dew points of -40°F, -80°F, and -100°F for more demanding process applications.

Available capacities span from 10 SCFM for small systems up to 24,000 SCFM for large industrial facilities. The ZEKS MultiPlex modular system covers 3,250–19,200 SCFM, while the Gardner Denver XGCY Series handles 10–24,000 CFM. High-pressure variants are available from 30–3,550 SCFM at up to 6,000 psig.

The ZEKS SCFX High Pressure Series handles up to 680 psig, and the ZEKS SS Series accommodates pressures as high as 6,000 psig with a fully stainless steel air circuit, making it suitable for specialized high-pressure industrial and gas applications.
